痛みが生じるということは、その患部に炎症が起きているということです。
炎症＝熱を帯びているため、その熱をさらにヒートさせると痛みは激しさを増します。
ということは、温めるのではなく、“冷やす”ことが正解になります。

その理由として、
① 冷やすことで炎症を吸収してくれる
② 患部の細胞が活性化することで、細胞の修復力が上がる

〇アイシングの作り方
氷嚢があれば氷嚢を使ってください。
氷嚢が無い方は、スーパーの袋などのレジ袋でも代用可能です。
氷は大体15～20個くらい用意しましょう。
水は氷が浸るくらいに入れて下さい。
氷水が用意できたら、患部に直接あてて下さい。
時間は、約15分くらい。
患部の感覚が感じなくなってきたら、15分経つ前に外しても大丈夫です。

〇湿布や保冷剤は使わない！！
冷却温度は0度以下になってしまうと患部が凍傷を起こしてしまいます。
保冷剤は常に0度以下なのに対し、氷水が0度以下になることはないので、必ず氷水を使用するようにしましょう。
湿布は一時的に痛みを緩和させるだけです。
また長時間貼り続けると、肌の弱い人は薬の成分で荒れてしまうことがあります。
そうなると、本来湿布を貼らないといけないときに貼ることができない状態になってしまいます。
冷やすことで一度血管を収縮させてから、血管を拡張させて血流を良くするためには、湿布では効果は出せません。
痛みを感じると湿布を貼る人が多いので注意しましょう！
